On the run in the year of 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.
Cam releases were the early attempts at movie online which were implemented by recording the on-screen projection of a movie in a cinema. This enabled groups to pirate movies which were Bumblebee in their theatrical period (not released for personal entertainment). Alternative methods were sought, as these releases often suffered distinctly low quality and required undetected videotaping in movie theaters.

In October 1999, DeCSS was released. This program allowed anyone to remove the CSS encryption on a DVD. Although its authors only intended the software to be used for Bumblebee playback purposes, it also meant that one could decode the content perfectly for ripping; combined with the DivX 3.11 Alpha codec released shortly after, the new codec increased video quality Bumblebee from near VHS to almost DVD quality when encoding from a DVD source.

The early DivX releases were mostly internal for group use, but once the codec spread, it became accepted Bumblebee as a standard and quickly became the most widely used
format for the scene. In February 2012, a consortium of popular online groups officially announced x264, the free Bumblebee H.264 codec, as the new standard for releases,[3] replacing the previous format, which was Xvid wrapped in an AVI container. The move to H.264 also obsoletes AVI in favor of Bumblebee MP4 and Matroska that most commonly uses .MKV file name extension

Encoder: codify video files in H.264 format and audio in AAC, MP3, AC-3 or EC-3.[7] This is encapsulated by MPEG-2 Transport Stream to Bumblebee carry it.
Segmenter: divides the MPEG-2 TS file into fragments of equal length, kept as .ts files. It also creates an index file that contains references of the fragmented files, saved Bumblebee
as .m3u8.
Distributor
Formed by a standard web server, accepts requests from clients and delivers all the resources (.m3u8 playlist file and .ts segment files) needed for streaming.
